Linda Twomey moved to Waynesville, North Carolina, in 2009. She has lived in many states, most recently Nevada. In the last 30 years, she taught art, operated a restaurant, and co-owned several businesses before retiring in 2006.  All the while, she honed her art, applying techniqes from art school at Indiana University and improvising some of her own as she developed a relationship with disenfranchised furniture.
 
It began when a charming piece that had seen better days asked her to revive it.  A connection with the object developed into a relationship as she repaired the surfaces for transformation.  She used her favorite methods and mediums to breathe new life into the former relic, and over the years, hobby turned to passion.
 
And now, hunting for needy furniture worthy of the time and talent given to its revival feeds Linda's expressive obsession.   Linda continues to study new methods that lend themselves to reviving furniture.  She has faux finish training from the Miller Wagner School of Decorative Arts in Chicago and  Barth's Faux Effects Decorative Finishes School in North Las Vegas.
 
No two 2ME works of art are alike.  The finished piece depends on how it SPEAKS 2ME!
