Christos has been a photographer for most of his life.  He started his photographic journey as a teenager.  He owns Christos Kyriakos Photography in Brevard, North Carolina, offering his Fine Art Photography as well as portraits, commercial events and other photographic services.

Christos has only one "formal" class in photography having taken it as an elective while pursuing his undergraduate degree in Management.  Everything he's learned about photography has come from reading books and magazines on the subject.  And, of course, getting out there and doing it.

Christos picks his subjects, or more likely, they pick him, by catching something in his mind's eye.  Sometimes he doesn't know why a particular subject is "speaking" to him, but he just knows that there is something there that wants to be captured by his camera.

Christos prides himself in getting it right in the camera, trying to create a perfect image without digital enhancements.  He uses very little, if any, adjustments to the RAW image.  He lets the subject "speak" for itself.

Christos lives in Brevard with his sweetie, Renee Bursley and their three dogs and two cats.  He also does woodworking and enjoys crafting fine wine along with Renee.
