Carole creates hand-dyed silk wearables, children's clothing and quilts.  Her work reflects the changing colors and seasons of nature.  Each of Carole's pieces is a one-of-a-kind wearable art.  She works with a Japanese technique calls "Shibori" where the silk is twisted, compressed, bound, folded and re-dyed several times ending with an original creation of colors never to be repeated.

Carole has extensive training in this method and the finished product never ceases to amaze her or her customers.  She will also do custom work.  Carole is a member of the Transylvania County Handcrafters Guild and the Transylvania County Arts Council (TCARTS).
