Carol Mirabel Nolan studied at the Pratt Institute School of Art & Design and is a graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Her careeer in New York was spent in the fashion industry as a talented designer in textiles with an emphasis in fabric printing and production.
She built on her creative talents in the fashion industry to subsequently become a successful watercolor, collage and pastel artist. She splits her time and influences of nature's beauty between both the ocean and beaches of Florida and the mountains of North Carolina by maintaining studios in Brevard, North Carolina and Palm Beach, Florida.
Her years of additional training have included studies at the Lighthouse Gallery and School of Art in Tequesta, Florida and the renowned Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, Florida where she has exhibited and won awards for her work. Her paintings have also been exhibited in the showroom of DSL Design & Build in Palm Beach, Florida and at Art & Soul Marketplace and TC Arts Council in Brevard, North Carolina.
Carol is an award-winning member of the Connesstee Art League in North Carolina where her work in watercolor, collage and pastels have won numerous awards.
